Get the time from [Time Tracking Log] in a Formula

For example:
I have the time logs and the hourly rate. I want to calculate the total amount.
[Time Tracking Log] * Number results in zero, and [Time Tracking Log] doesn't support the dot notation.

Besides displaying the [Time Tracking Log] value, how can we use it in the formulas?
