How to pull information from another table based on the Assigned to field in a primary table?

Hi SmartSuite community,

I'm trying to create a setup where users won't need to manually select linked record as each linked record anyways represents a same person from the 'Assigned to' field, assigned in one of the previous steps. But I think I still need the linked record field because I need to pull additional information about each assignee from the other table. I tried setting up automation but without success.

If somebody knows how to do this I will greatly appreciate if you share a solution with me.
