SmartSuite Email Question

Resolved

Where do the emails that are received as a new email, and not as a response to an email that originated from a record, go?

As an example, my SmartSuite email address is [email protected]. Once I send someone an email from that SmartSuite email address, they may use that same email address for a separate and new, unrelated email that is not a response to a previous email.

I sent myself a test email to my SmartSuite email address and cannot locate the email in SmartSuite.

Is there a general inbox that will host all the email activity?

Currently, you can initiate a conversation by sending out email from SmartSuite. Replies will be captured as incoming emails. But SmartSuite outgoing email needs to be a starting point here (this outgoing message stores Solution, App and Record IDs. This is how we know which record a reply should be linked to).

At the moment, we don't have a mailbox to capture "unbound" emails that are not linked to any particular record. .

Let us discuss this use case internally. I will get back to you.

Best regards,

Artem
