Update a record from within an email sent from the communication center

I'd like to be able to have a client update a specific field in their record without their needing to log into smartsuite itself or my manually logging a confirmation email. Since the email reply goes back to that record's communication center, can you put a field into an email and have that update a record field?

Simple use case: I want a client to confirm their appointment date a few days in advance. The easiest UX is for the client to just click "Confirmed" in the email. I'd want a confirm "button" that updates a Yes/No filed in their record in Smartsuite.

Is there a way to accomplish this?
