Make.com issues with SmartSuite Images

Hey everyone,

I am having extreme difficulty working with images in Make.com that are pulled from SmartSuite.

For a rundown of the automation, please find a loom video below:

Essentially, I am unable to work with images that are using the Smartsuite CDN in make.com. I can copy the src link directly and I am able to view the image. Make.com doesn't seem to recognize it. In this example, here is the source image I am using as a test. (This is what is pulled in from the image array):

https://cdn.files.smartsuite.com/AEHrSDUikTDqTbYuRTesYz/security=policy:eyJjYWxsIjogWyJyZWFkIiwgImNvbnZlcnQiXSwgImV4cGlyeSI6IDE2OTA0OTEzMzAuNzA5MTI0LCAibWF4U2l6ZSI6IDUwMDAwMDAwMDB9,signature:59e227c0c21b38d21941d53ce0a3d90deaf9b9bc808fd2aa5dc096e1cdae7074/v01GeKJ4QrW2dmK7lt1I

Even when I map to this link as text or as a link in SmartSuite, and map that field, I still receive an error. However, if i pull any random image link (and add as text/link field in SmartSuite) from any website and map that image, the workflow works flawlessly.

From the images below, you can see the source is being pulled in properly:

As mentioned, I have tried many other image plugins in make.com and receive the same error. I have reached out to make.com, WooCommerce, SmartSuite support, and even paid a SmartSuite consultant to no avail.

Potential Ideas

I am not sure this is related, but I did notice that when I created the link field in SmartSuite and pasted the src url, it stripped the "," and everything past it, eliminating the signature. Is it this syntax that is breaking the automations?

I also noticed that something is being uploaded to WooCommerce/Wordpress. It appears to be a generic 'file' that when opened serves the image on a webpage. Here is a screenshot of the file:

When I open in a text editor, it appears to be encrypted, however when opening in a browser, it serves the image locally.

Conclusion

Does anybody know how to extract images out of the file uploads in Make.com?

Thank you in advance for everyone who looks at this with me! I'm at a loss and this is the lynch pin of moving my database over to SmartSuite and onboarding a dozen new users. I still have some work to go, but once product creation is more or less automated, I can focus on internal workflows, as all workflows and data link back to the products.
