I'm a consultant near Las Vegas who is also vetting a number of no/low-code platforms, so I'm in the same boat.

I like what I'm seeing in SmartSuite, and I've also experimented with AI integrations through the SmartSuite API. This article shows how I approached it, given that SmartSuite has only begun its journey in generative AI.

I'm also really impressed by the SmartDoc field type. Most no-code platforms are either data-centric or text-centric (Coda and Notion are good examples). SmartSuite seems to be leaning onto the often-seen requirements that must allow narratives and rich texts to blend and work seamlessly with operational data. But, my interest is reusable and automated generative AI prompts in records and documents. I wrote about this here (Document and Data Tension: Polarized Perspectives) and also provided a vision of generative AI in records and adjacent SmartDoc fields.
