You are now able to click on a Lookup field value in a View or Record to access the record, making it easy to review details or make necessary changes, subject to appropriate permissions.
This feature brings distant data right at your fingertips.
If you hover over any Lookup value, you’ll see the Title of its source record and 
the name of the Table it originates from.
And what if there is a chain of Lookup to a Lookup to a Lookup? It does not matter how many lookups the chain has. A single click will get you to its starting point.
Be aware of a special case with fields like Files and Images. Clicking on a Lookup to Files and Images field opens up the Gallery. But the Shift+Click magically brings up the source record for each file.
